From agency to platform: why we built Uptonica

In fifteen years working alongside Italian Shopify brands, we kept seeing the same problem. Not a lack of tools: there are dozens, one for every part of the store. The problem is that each tool only sees its own slice. The software that manages prices doesn’t know how much you’re spending on ads. The chat that answers customers doesn’t know your margins. So in the end, the only place where all of this comes together is you.

For years our craft was being the glue: holding the pieces together, making the data talk, turning five dashboards into one decision. It’s the method that let us grow our clients in concrete, measurable ways.

At some point we asked a simple question. What if that method, instead of living in the heads of our team, became a platform? One platform that sees everything: catalog, content, pricing, ads, conversations with customers. One brain, instead of ten tools that each see a tenth of it.

That question became Uptonica.
