The challenge
Z-Tech Italia has decided to expand its e-commerce from an exclusively B2B dimension to a hybrid model that also includes B2C. This strategic shift aimed to reach a wider audience, thereby increasing opportunities for market growth and diversification.
The transition from one model to the other involved a radical rethinking of the existing website. The main challenges faced were:
- Rethinking Navigation Routes
- Reorganization of the Product Database
- Rethinking Site Aesthetics
- Optimization of Purchasing Processes
- Differentiated pricing and offerings for B2C and B2B markets
Graphics & Design
The main design intervention saw a complete reformulation of the company’s Brand Identity, now expressed by a high-contrast color palette that mixes the scratchy hues of red with the natural tone of dark green, symbolizing the synergy between the power of electric motors and their environmentally sustainable nature.
The layout of each page, the aesthetics with which the products are presented, and the new navigation menu then add a key contribution to the user experience, who is guided through each step of the purchasing process by an interface with clear and clean information.
On the technical front, on the other hand, we applied deep integrations with external systems to manage prices and offers differentiated according to the type of user (private or business), so that it was possible to apply totally customized discounts and shipping policies.
